I am excited to be showing a number of works inspired by the fabulous Pablo Picasso, alongside four other talented artists. Housed at Elizabeth James Gallery in South East London, the show pays homage to the great modern master. Luke Edgar, Robert H. Schoolfield, Ruth Hart and John Calvin join me to create an exciting exhibition that shows how Picasso has influenced many artists, sometimes in the most unexpected ways.
Pablo Picasso has always been a huge inspiration for me and so I am showing a range of paintings - nudes, interiors and portrait studies - in a bid to show his influence on every genre of my work. From his cubist principles and confident mark-making, to the more neo-primitivist pieces inspired by African masks and sculpture, Picasso's influence is apparent throughout my artworks.
Please join us for the private view on 12th November, 7-9pm to celebrate the launch of the exhibition, or visit Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm until 25th November.
